Mayor Zhang Yanyou

As a Chinese saying goes: “Nothing, not even mountains or oceans, can separate people with shared goals and vision.” Though geographically far apart from each other, the people of Changping District and Hurunui District have urgent expectations to deepen mutual understanding and expand cooperation. In recent years, our two districts have become closer as we visit each other more. On July 6, 2016 the honorable Mayor Winton Dalley led the Hurunui delegation to Changping District and signed the formal sister district agreement which brings deeper friendship and more vigorous practical cooperation. I sincerely hope that both sides enhance communication, deepen friendship and engage each other extensively in areas like agriculture, tourism, education and more for mutual benefit and common development.
